aws emr add-tags
Adds tags to an Amazon EMR resource. Tags make it easier to associate clusters in various ways, such as grouping clusters to track your Amazon EMR resource allocation costs. For more information, see Tag Clusters
Options
Name | Description |
---|---|
--resource-id <string> | The Amazon EMR resource identifier to which tags will be added. This value must be a cluster identifier |
--tags <string...> | A list of tags to associate with a cluster, which apply to each Amazon EC2 instance in the cluster. Tags are key-value pairs that consist of a required key string with a maximum of 128 characters, and an optional value string with a maximum of 256 characters. You can specify tags in key=value format or you can add a tag without a value using only the key name, for example key. Use a space to separate multiple tags |
--cli-input-json <string> | Performs service operation based on the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by ``--generate-cli-skeleton``. If other arguments are provided on the command line, the CLI values will override the JSON-provided values. It is not possible to pass arbitrary binary values using a JSON-provided value as the string will be taken literally |
--generate-cli-skeleton <string> | Prints a JSON skeleton to standard output without sending an API request. If provided with no value or the value ``input``, prints a sample input JSON that can be used as an argument for ``--cli-input-json``. If provided with the value ``output``, it validates the command inputs and returns a sample output JSON for that command |
