aws opsworks set-load-based-auto-scaling

Specify the load-based auto scaling configuration for a specified layer. For more information, see Managing Load with Time-based and Load-based Instances. To use load-based auto scaling, you must create a set of load-based auto scaling instances. Load-based auto scaling operates only on the instances from that set, so you must ensure that you have created enough instances to handle the maximum anticipated load. Required Permissions: To use this action, an IAM user must have a Manage permissions level for the stack, or an attached policy that explicitly grants permissions. For more information on user permissions, see Managing User Permissions

Options

NameDescription
--layer-id <string>The layer ID
--enableEnables load-based auto scaling for the layer
--no-enableEnables load-based auto scaling for the layer
--up-scaling <structure>An AutoScalingThresholds object with the upscaling threshold configuration. If the load exceeds these thresholds for a specified amount of time, AWS OpsWorks Stacks starts a specified number of instances
--down-scaling <structure>An AutoScalingThresholds object with the downscaling threshold configuration. If the load falls below these thresholds for a specified amount of time, AWS OpsWorks Stacks stops a specified number of instances
--cli-input-json <string>Performs service operation based on the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by ``--generate-cli-skeleton``. If other arguments are provided on the command line, the CLI values will override the JSON-provided values. It is not possible to pass arbitrary binary values using a JSON-provided value as the string will be taken literally
--generate-cli-skeleton <string>Prints a JSON skeleton to standard output without sending an API request. If provided with no value or the value ``input``, prints a sample input JSON that can be used as an argument for ``--cli-input-json``. If provided with the value ``output``, it validates the command inputs and returns a sample output JSON for that command
