aws kinesisanalyticsv2 update-application

Updates an existing Kinesis Data Analytics application. Using this operation, you can update application code, input configuration, and output configuration. Kinesis Data Analytics updates the ApplicationVersionId each time you update your application. You cannot update the RuntimeEnvironment of an existing application. If you need to update an application's RuntimeEnvironment, you must delete the application and create it again


--application-name <string>The name of the application to update
--current-application-version-id <long>The current application version ID. You can retrieve the application version ID using DescribeApplication
--application-configuration-update <structure>Describes application configuration updates
--service-execution-role-update <string>Describes updates to the service execution role
--run-configuration-update <structure>Describes updates to the application's starting parameters
--cloud-watch-logging-option-updates <list>Describes application Amazon CloudWatch logging option updates. You can only update existing CloudWatch logging options with this action. To add a new CloudWatch logging option, use AddApplicationCloudWatchLoggingOption
--cli-input-json <string>Performs service operation based on the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by ``--generate-cli-skeleton``. If other arguments are provided on the command line, the CLI values will override the JSON-provided values. It is not possible to pass arbitrary binary values using a JSON-provided value as the string will be taken literally
--generate-cli-skeleton <string>Prints a JSON skeleton to standard output without sending an API request. If provided with no value or the value ``input``, prints a sample input JSON that can be used as an argument for ``--cli-input-json``. If provided with the value ``output``, it validates the command inputs and returns a sample output JSON for that command
