aws fsx describe-file-systems

Returns the description of specific Amazon FSx file systems, if a FileSystemIds value is provided for that file system. Otherwise, it returns descriptions of all file systems owned by your AWS account in the AWS Region of the endpoint that you're calling. When retrieving all file system descriptions, you can optionally specify the MaxResults parameter to limit the number of descriptions in a response. If more file system descriptions remain, Amazon FSx returns a NextToken value in the response. In this case, send a later request with the NextToken request parameter set to the value of NextToken from the last response. This action is used in an iterative process to retrieve a list of your file system descriptions. DescribeFileSystems is called first without a NextTokenvalue. Then the action continues to be called with the NextToken parameter set to the value of the last NextToken value until a response has no NextToken. When using this action, keep the following in mind: The implementation might return fewer than MaxResults file system descriptions while still including a NextToken value. The order of file systems returned in the response of one DescribeFileSystems call and the order of file systems returned across the responses of a multicall iteration is unspecified

Options

NameDescription
--file-system-ids <list>IDs of the file systems whose descriptions you want to retrieve (String)
--max-results <integer>Maximum number of file systems to return in the response (integer). This parameter value must be greater than 0. The number of items that Amazon FSx returns is the minimum of the MaxResults parameter specified in the request and the service's internal maximum number of items per page
--next-token <string>Opaque pagination token returned from a previous DescribeFileSystems operation (String). If a token present, the action continues the list from where the returning call left off
--cli-input-json <string>Performs service operation based on the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by ``--generate-cli-skeleton``. If other arguments are provided on the command line, the CLI values will override the JSON-provided values. It is not possible to pass arbitrary binary values using a JSON-provided value as the string will be taken literally
--starting-token <string>A token to specify where to start paginating. This is the NextToken from a previously truncated response. For usage examples, see Pagination in the AWS Command Line Interface User Guide
--page-size <integer>The size of each page to get in the AWS service call. This does not affect the number of items returned in the command's output. Setting a smaller page size results in more calls to the AWS service, retrieving fewer items in each call. This can help prevent the AWS service calls from timing out. For usage examples, see Pagination in the AWS Command Line Interface User Guide
--max-items <integer>The total number of items to return in the command's output. If the total number of items available is more than the value specified, a NextToken is provided in the command's output. To resume pagination, provide the NextToken value in the starting-token argument of a subsequent command. Do not use the NextToken response element directly outside of the AWS CLI. For usage examples, see Pagination in the AWS Command Line Interface User Guide
--generate-cli-skeleton <string>Prints a JSON skeleton to standard output without sending an API request. If provided with no value or the value ``input``, prints a sample input JSON that can be used as an argument for ``--cli-input-json``. If provided with the value ``output``, it validates the command inputs and returns a sample output JSON for that command
