aws eks associate-encryption-config

Associate encryption configuration to an existing cluster. You can use this API to enable encryption on existing clusters which do not have encryption already enabled. This allows you to implement a defense-in-depth security strategy without migrating applications to new EKS clusters

Options

NameDescription
--cluster-name <string>The name of the cluster that you are associating with encryption configuration
--encryption-config <list...>The configuration you are using for encryption
--client-request-token <string>The client request token you are using with the encryption configuration
--cli-input-json <string>Performs service operation based on the JSON string provided. The JSON string follows the format provided by ``--generate-cli-skeleton``. If other arguments are provided on the command line, the CLI values will override the JSON-provided values. --generate-cli-skeleton <string>Prints a JSON skeleton to standard output without sending an API request. If provided with no value or the value ``input``, prints a sample input JSON that can be used as an argument for ``--cli-input-json``.
