Chief of Staff

What you will do

We're an early stage startup that's growing incredibly quickly. We're looking for a smart operator to take on any challenge and do whatever needs to be done

You'll be working very closely with our co-founder & CEO, Brendan, our executive team, and our investors.


Examples of initiatives you will lead

• Hiring: help us grow from a team of 5 to a team of 20 in the next 3 months
• Launches: launch new products/features with existing users, with press, and on social
• Roadmap: plan, update, and enforce team and company goals
• Partnerships: OSS tools, companies that have a public CLI, developer communities, and developer content creators
• New product R&D: lead customer discovery calls for new products/features
• Sales: help us close our first $1M in ARR
• Conferences: represent Fig at events and conferences
  
  

Key Qualifications

• Hustle
• Great organisation (Inbox zero type)
• Great communicator (clear, concise, friendly)
• Experience in sales / business development
• Basic familiarity with the shell (bash/zsh/fish), terminals, CLIs

Bonus Points

• Experience as an operator at an early/growth stage tech startup
• Background creating content for Twitter, YouTube, Reddit etc
• Strong familiarity with the shell
• Familiarity with web technologies like typescript, react, html/css

For this role, we are requiring people to be in San Francisco.
